 from GM°Mark Kline :

Just got back from a great trip to Italy!

I had the pleasure of bringing a long time friend and great martial artist John Festa with me.

Many of you saw pictures from the whole week and just in case you did not…I am sure that Roberto Buffolini tagged you in 1 photo or several hundred:-). I am really glad he is enthusastic, not only does his enthusiasm show on the mat…but here on FB as well:-)

Thursday – Arrived for a great lunch at casa Frisan with James E Corn, Duane Corn, John Festa, Luis Manuel Ramos Sanches, Ana Sanches, and of course the Frisan family…including the 5 dogs.

Thursday Evening – John and I taught for 3 hours to the students of Kaizen Martial Arts Italy and we had over 500 watch the live stream via KyushoCast™ – Live Event Broadcasting (more information about this (http://www.kyushoinstitute.com). Then off to GM Pub for dinner and conversation.

Friday – White Crane Kata Seminar (6 hours). Jim Corn, John Festa and myself broke down a white crane kata and the participants learned the aspects of Kyusho hidden within this deadly form. People attended from all over Italy and one student from Barcelona.

Friday Night – Great dinner with the participants and friends.

World Kyusho Summit

Saturday – 6 hours of classes with Denis Brecevaz, Maestro Buttozzoni, Jim Corn, John Festa, Luis Sanches, Gianluca Frisan, Alessandro Scappatura, and Stefano Mazza Mandorlo and myself.

Students from around the world were able to attend via KyushoCast™ (Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, USA and more).

Congratulations to Vito Gidari and Luis Sanches for attaining the rank of 2nd Dan through the Kyusho Institute and Roberto Dassie and Michele De Mori for attaining the rank of 3rd degree Black Belt in Kyusho through the Kyusho Institute. Great job!!

Saturday Night – More great food and conversation!!

Sunday – 6 hours of training with Denis Brecevaz, Maestro Buttozzoni, Jim Corn, John Festa, Luis Sanches, Gianluca Frisan, Alessandro Scappatura, and Stefano Mazza Mandorlo and myself.

Two of Omar Dal Farra’s students tested for green belt in Ryukyu Kempo (jet lag has me at a loss for names at the moment…I will fix this tomorrow).

Sunday Dinner – More great food and conversation to wind down the World Kyusho Summit

Monday – VENICE with Luis and Ana Sanches, Jim Corn, John Festa, and Taz Sadhukhan.

Tuesday – Shopping day:-) and teaching for 3 hours at the Kaizen Martial Arts Italy class.

Wednesday – started our trip home Emoticon frown

It is always sad to leave. One thing I have always been grateful for is the trust and support from all of you…especially Gianluca and Alessandro…and of course their families! The bonds of friendship that I have developed over the years has been the true gift for me.

Until next time….Ciao and Grazie!
